Feliz Cumpleanos!

Pancakes, pizza, and red velvet cake.  This sums up my 27th birthday.  Things sure have changed in a year.  (Notice how all I focus on now is food.  If you really know me, these are not my normal eating habits.)

This time last year Daniel and I spent the day in Fredericksburg wine tasting where he proposed!  We got married in March and now we are pregnant.  Crazy!  I celebrated with some sprite this year instead =)

I spent the day with my sweet friend Mel getting breakfast and mani/pedi's.  I used to think mani/pedi's were so relaxing but now they are like being in a state of euphoria.  AMAZING.

That night Daniel, my parents, and I had pizza at Fralos.  If you live in the San Antonio area and have never been to Fralos, go.  Go now.  It is the yummiest pizza ever!

That was it.  That was my day.  Nothing big or crazy.  Nice and relaxing which is what I and sweet baby needed.  Next week we go to hear our sweet babies heartbeat!  I can't wait!

My "beer gut" is starting to look more bumpish...so here we are at 11 weeks!

Weekly bumps!

Daniel and I wanted to document this pregnancy with weekly bump shots along with updates on what is happening in our lives.

I found this idea on Pinterest (which I am on more than any other website...if you don't have a pinterest get one.  NOW.)

We took an old frame, spray painted it, and attached a board with chalkboard paint.  Voila!  Super cute chalkboard!

As far as the bump is concerned, I wouldn't call it a baby bump yet.  Yes there is a baby in there growing everyday, however, this is a collection of all the spicy olives, bagels with cream cheese, and fried goodies I like to indulge in.  I sometimes have to ask myself "who are you" lately with my eating habits.

So here we are at 10 weeks.

Sweet Little Flicker

Today was magical.

Daniel and I went to our second appointment today at 8 1/2 weeks along.  At our first appointment it was still too early to see nothing more than a speck so we were really anxious for today.

We got to see our baby (which did not look like a speck anymore) and the sweet little flicker of the heartbeat.  I cried tears of joy.  Daniel couldn't stop smiling.  Our doctor told us that everything is going great so far.  We have a strong, sweet, little baby growing everyday and couldn't be happier!

Daniel is in the midst of creating something for us that I wanted to use to document this whole experience.

To Baby B:  Mommy and Daddy love you so much!  Keep growing big and strong!
